Quick Earning Warning!
In fact, I am not supposed to write a post at this moment—nor am I writing out of a great hobby; nevertheless, holding the keyboard only because I feel writing this is necessary…
Anyway, lately quite a few micro-job websites offer us jobs and actually give some money; broadly speaking, a slice of online earning, so to speak; not bad at all!
Not bad at all, I know… but at the end, whether all these websites or applications eventually run away, I know that too; still, if some income happens in the middle of it, the lesser of evils means even better!
Oh yes… right on this TrickBD, from the comment box and posts of one or two articles, there was a sweet and sour debate regarding such micro-jobs or earning websites; writing those here will create unnecessary trouble or criticism—so keeping it omitted is preferable!
Now let's come to the main point…
Since you know everything: “Why are these earning sites created? / How does a site get ready in just five minutes by uploading a tiny script? / Or earning by selling newly created Gmail or Facebook accounts in demo tasks, or activating an ID with a mere 15/20 Taka” — so I have nothing special to explain to you, but there is one magic-like truth to share — that magic is “You cannot become rich via shortcuts”!
Great magic, isn't it?
— Well, now perhaps in the comments or in various media waves, comments will keep coming — since responding to each person individually is difficult and time-consuming for me, it can be stated a bit more firmly and sternly that “Already a comprehensive email complaint has been filed with the General Desk of the Cyber Crime Department of Bangladesh, in light of which appropriate action is being taken against these matters.”
[I hope the TrickBD Support Team will kindly communicate to receive the email attachment details if deemed necessary and take the required measures filed by the CPC].
Since hearing these things has also become commonplace to us, still listen at least one last time [for the general public]:
- (1) You might think that earning a little in your free time is not bad — but you should also value this free time of yours.
- (2) No authority will ever pay you money in exchange for watching advertisements — rather, to create and circulate ads, they turn to third parties through whom we watch ads. And that “we watch ads”, we don't watch them just for the sake of watching either, but in the breaks between dramas or sports: watching ads under the excitement of watching a drama or a match is basically advertising. Such simple words, yet I know there's no need to explain — still, knowing everything, we jump out of greed for profit! On the other hand, if you buy a package and watch ads, no company will give you money — because in reality no product or service is being sold through that! Therefore, earning by watching ads / earning by showing ads / earning by buying ad packages — remember that these kinds of things are not true at all.
- (3) You are not only paying money, but you are also scattering the most important element of this era, “information”, everywhere like cockroaches — thus, you yourself are creating the highest possibility of misuse, and ultimately in any accident, you will have nothing left to do except curse the culprit and regret. The mobile numbers you provide to send or withdraw money (especially Nagad and then bKash) can later be used against you through scams or criminal activity out of your own carelessness [for example: spam calls + spam messages + false phone calls requesting OTPs + using mobile account information of that operator] — all of this you are providing yourself out of greed for profit!
- (4) In the majority of platforms, referring people to increase earnings and members is a silent killer, my friend! You might initially be getting some commission referral-wise in your account, but the person you are referring (be it a friend or acquaintance, etc.) [or even their reference's 2nd–3rd commission hand] will not get the money. Will you take the liability for this? Or you may promote free earnings, but if your friend or their friend gets stuck by paying a subscription or investing, who will look for whom? In fact, you should be the one sought after — because if the victim is responsible for being tempted by greed, the responsibility falls on the one who made them a victim. Therefore, be aware before referring anyone or providing information.
- (5) In some cases, data breaches occur through mobile applications — in this case too, beware of the tendency to grant all permissions just because it is an earning application. It may happen that for a small amount of money from these non-authentic institutions or individuals, you will face a major disaster.
- (6) For some micro-jobs or such sites, you will find an indispensable Telegram channel — where there are only hundreds of payment proofs and numerous members; basically, these are just a form of psychological manipulation to instill trust.
- (7) In the case of online earning, the root of all the issues we think about and get into trouble with is this: “Where you are giving money is in a sense a business, and where you are giving time and stamina is a job for you” — therefore, whether you will choose business or a job to earn money online should be clarified before anything else.
- (8) Certainly, you can become rich [anyway, the word rich is somewhat relative] in a very short time by earning online — provided you genuinely have the qualification or skill within you to do something online.
Well… enough advice has been given [if possible, I request you to be mindful so that it doesn't enter through one ear and leave through the other, but rather stays a bit in your head]; nevertheless, at this moment, I am providing all user info, their submitted balances, and contact info details of a currently popular micro-job online earning website; a database of customers upon whom the ghost of online earning has been imposed just like a micro-sized Ponzi scheme [since it has already been legally confirmed under declaration via report from CPC of the Cyber Crime Department of Bangladesh Government]: https://humayunshariarhimu.github.io/ReportRepository/
A few words: the above data represents only a small region of Dhaka city in this Bangladesh — it is spread across the whole of Bangladesh. Therefore, you or I must raise awareness — for TrickBD not just to be a place of profit (meaning benefit) for all of us, but also to be somewhat responsible out of Love. Furthermore, this post is made for awareness — now, “I gave advice, hence I became noble” is not such narrow thinking; in my view, if I am bad, it is better to plainly call it bad; on the other hand, the tendency to pretend to be good while being bad is what hypocrisy is — this was said because some adverse comments not only worsen the environment for us authors on TrickBD, but even more so bring controversy to one of the prominent tech platforms for general visitors.
Best wishes for everyone — may good sense dawn upon us.
