Roblox Plus Explained (2026): Price, Benefits, and What Happened to Roblox Premium

Roblox Plus is Roblox's new monthly subscription. It launched on April 30, 2026, costs $4.99 a month, and replaces Roblox Premium for new members. Plus gives 10% off in-game items and avatar items, rising to 20% from your third month in a row. It also gives free private servers and fee-free Robux transfers. Unlike Premium, the basic Plus plan doesn't include monthly Robux. Roblox said bundles with 500, 1,000, or 2,000 Robux a month would come soon after launch. From Bangladesh, you can pay with a Roblox gift card bought with bKash.

What Roblox Plus includes

These details come from Roblox's April 2026 announcement. Check the Roblox app for current bundle prices.

What happened to Roblox Premium?

Since Plus launched, new users can't sign up for Premium. If you already had Premium:

• You keep your membership and your monthly Robux.
• You keep avatar item trading, publishing, and selling.
• The 10% bonus on extra Robux purchases and the Premium logo ended on May 30, 2026.
• You could get a free one-month Plus trial on top of your current plan.

So if you see old guides that talk about "Premium 450" or "Premium 1000," those plans are no longer open to new members.

Roblox Plus vs old Premium

In short, Premium paid you in Robux. Plus pays you in discounts and features. Which one is better depends on how you spend.

Is Roblox Plus worth it?

It depends on how you spend in Roblox.

• Worth it if you buy items every month. With 20% off from month three, regular buyers save money.
• Worth it if you play with friends and want private servers in your favorite games.
• Worth it if you send Robux to friends or family, since transfers have no fees.
• Not worth it if you rarely buy items. Then just buy Robux when you need them.
• Want monthly Robux? Look at the Plus bundles instead of the base plan.

Safety rules for Robux transfers

Roblox added checks for sending and receiving Robux. Users under 18 need a parent or caregiver to approve each time they send or receive Robux. Users who pass an age check and are 18 or older can do it without approval. Roblox says these rules may change, including for local laws.

Never send Robux to strangers who promise you more in return. That's a common scam. Read our guide on avoiding scams with digital items.
