Assalamu Alaikum.
Currently, the number of people interested in online income has increased a lot.
Whenever you open Facebook, YouTube, or TikTok, you see someone saying they are earning 5,000 taka a day, or someone saying they earned a lakh taka in a month.
Seeing all this, many people feel that online income is a very easy thing.
To tell the truth, I myself believed some of these ideas in the beginning.
Today I will talk about some of the biggest misconceptions regarding online income.
This is probably the biggest misconception.
Many people think that income will start right after opening an account.
In reality, most people have to give a lot of time to learn skills, practice, and get clients or customers.
Some start earning after a few months, while others take even more time.

Many videos are seen on the internet claiming that it is possible to earn without any skill.
In some cases, there might be a small income.
However, to make a good income in the long term, some kind of skill is required.
For example:
The better the skill, the more the opportunities to earn will increase.
Many look at the lives of freelancers and think they work whenever they want, sleep whenever they want.
In reality, freelancing also has pressure.
Clients have to be handled.
Work has to be delivered meeting deadlines.
Sometimes one even has to stay up at night to work.
Therefore, freelancing means a comfortable life—this is not completely true.

Many think that opening a Fiverr or Upwork account will immediately start getting clients.
In reality, getting the first client is often the most difficult step.
Because in the beginning, there are no reviews, no portfolio.
Therefore, one has to keep trying with patience.
This is also a common misconception.
Online income is a good thing, but leaving everything right at the beginning is not a wise move.
Many successful freelancers also started working alongside their studies or jobs in the beginning.

Many get influenced just by looking at income screenshots.
However, along with online income, skill, experience, and long-term stability are also important.
There might be income today, but it may not be there tomorrow.
So instead of only looking at numbers, one should focus on increasing one's own skills.
What I have understood is that online income is not actually a shortcut.
It is just like any other career.
Time has to be given.
One has to learn.
Mistakes have to be made.
Then gradually results are achieved.
Those who patiently develop skills are generally the ones who do well in the long term.
Online income is definitely possible.
However, it is not a magic road to getting rich overnight.
The faster this reality can be accepted, the sooner one can move forward on the right track.
