Telegram Premium Features: What You Get and Is It Worth It in Bangladesh?

Telegram Premium is worth it if you use Telegram a lot. Maybe you send big files, follow many channels, or get lots of voice notes. Premium doubles most limits and lets you upload files up to 4 GB instead of 2 GB. It also speeds up downloads, turns voice notes into text, and hides sponsored posts. For simple chatting, the free app is enough. On AroraShop, Premium starts at ৳1,980 for 3 months, and the 12-month plan works out to about ৳396 a month.

Telegram Premium features at a glance

Telegram adds and changes Premium features over time, so the app's Premium page has the latest list.

The features people actually use

4 GB uploads and faster downloads

This is the main reason many people in Bangladesh pay. Do you share long videos, project files, or class recordings? With 4 GB, you split fewer files. Downloads are faster too, which helps on slow mobile data.

Voice-to-text

Tap a button on any voice message and read it as text. It's handy in a class, an office, or a bus where you can't play audio.

No sponsored messages

Big public channels show small sponsored posts at the bottom. Premium hides them.

More room to organise

500 channels sounds like a lot. Then you join news, job, study, and shop channels. Premium lets you join 1,000, and gives you 20 folders to sort them. Students and freelancers with many groups feel this most.

Looks and extras

You get a star badge next to your name, animated profile videos, premium stickers and reactions, custom emoji you can use in any chat, and extra app icons. Nice to have, but probably not a reason to pay by themselves.

Telegram Premium price in Bangladesh

The 3-month plan is the easy way to try it, but it costs the most per month. If you know you'll keep it, the 6-month plan costs much less per month. The 12-month plan is the cheapest of all. Check live prices on the Telegram Premium page on AroraShop.

Telegram's own price differs by country and by how you pay. Our Telegram Premium price by country article compares them.

Is Telegram Premium worth it for you?

Probably yes if you:

• Send or download files larger than 2 GB, or download a lot on slow data.
• Get many voice messages and want to read them quietly.
• Are close to the 500-channel limit.
• Run groups or channels and want more pins, folders, and links.

Probably not if you:

• Mostly chat with friends and family.
• Rarely send large files.
• Only want the badge or stickers.

Here is a simple example. Say you edit videos for clients and send each finished video on Telegram. Your files are often 2.5 to 3 GB. On the free app you have to cut each one into two parts. With Premium you send it in one go, and that saves time every week. Someone who only chats with family would get almost nothing from it.

Not sure? Start with the 3-month plan and see how often you use the extra features. Our Telegram Premium free trial guide also explains official ways to try it.

Tips to get the most from Premium

• Turn on auto-archive for new chats from people you don't know. It keeps your main list clean.
• Make folders for study, work, and news. Pin the chats you open every day.
• Use voice-to-text in quiet places, like a class or a meeting.
• Send large files in one piece instead of splitting them.
• Set your bio with a link to your shop or page. Premium gives you more space.

What happens when Premium ends?

Your chats and the files you already sent stay where they are. The limits go back to the free levels, so features like voice-to-text and the extra folders and pins stop working until you renew. Renew before the end date if you don't want a gap.
